With just ten dollars to my name,
I went out shopping just the same.
My mission? I was hot to get
A furry friend, the  perfect pet.
With dealers' prices sky-high steep,
I asked, "Are puppies  going cheap?"
I found the comeback rather flip:
"Nope, all of ours are going 'yip'."
