FORGET-ME-KNOT”
My weakest point, if such there be,
Has always been my memory.
I'd walk into a room and stare,
And wonder what I'm doing  there.
No luck had I imprinting faces,
Could not return to fav'rite places.
Introduce me? No way, brother;
In one ear and out the other.
Names were my Achilles' heel.
Recollections made me reel.
Could  not sing of auld lang syne.
Names escaped me - even mine.
But now my brain is right on track.
With names I'm sharper than a tack.
I took a mem'ry course, you see:
The one by David Carnegie.
