“ON MELTING A NEW MOM'S HEART”
Hello there, little mother.
I'll hold the  door for you
Whilst you wheel in your angel-child,
So beautiful and new.
I'll bet you're very proud of him,
Or her, as case may be.
I'm  sorry, but I must admit
They're all the same to me.
But gender doesn't matter much;
Distinction simply blurs.
Its good looks must have come from Dad,
'Cause Mommy still has hers.
