“MANY HAPPY RETURNS”
It seems that I spend half my dough
On fads that come, and then they go.
The sad fact is, no doubt, for sure,
They'll disappear  and then recur.
The Pet Rocks that were all the rage,
For kids like me, at any age,
And Cabbage Patchers, heads of Chia,
Will reappear; you've no idea!
The Hula Hoop I buy today
Replaces those I've thrown away
But  then re-surface, so, you see,
They get a second crack at me.
Those Furbies  that can really gab
Can count on me to foot their tab.
And now 'tis said, alas, alack,
That Boomerangs are coming back!
